Simple Overnight Oats with Berries

Overnight oats with fruit are a great way to have a delicious make ahead breakfast that is full of tasty and hearty nutritious ingredients. These are perfect for meal prep and busy mornings!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds or chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup mixed berries or fruit

Instructions

  1. The night before, put everything (except for the fruit) into a mason jar (or resealable container) and stir. Top oats mixture with berries and screw on the mason jar lid.
  2. Next, refrigerate overnight (preferably), or at least 2 hours.
  3. Uncover container, stir ingredients and enjoy! Thin with a little more milk if desired.
  4. If you prefer your overnight oats, place container in the microwave for 90 seconds or so and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Overnight oats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
