Cake for breakfast is always a good idea. Especially when it’s this Blackberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake, layered with tangy cream cheese and topped with a cinnamon brown sugar streusel. It’s a delectable way to start the day.

Flour | Baking Powder | Salt Baking Soda | Butter | Cinnamon Sugar | Brown Sugar | Eggs | Vanilla Greek Yogurt | Blackberries Full Fat Cream Cheese | Lemons Powdered Sugar

Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar together on high speed until creamy and combined.

Prep ingredients

Add 1 egg at a time and then beat the vanilla extract and Greek Yogurt in as well. Add the flour mixture and beat until combined. Then fold in the blackberries.

Mix Batter

Beat the cream cheese and remaining granulated sugar in a bowl until creamy. To make the topping, combine the brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.


Pour cake batter into a springform pan, layer cream cheese mixture on top, and sprinkle with streusel topping. Bake for 60-65 minutes. Drizzle with icing and scatter additional fresh blackberries on top if desired.
