Flour | Cream of Tartar | Cinnamon Baking Soda | Salt | Butter | Egg Granulated Sugar | Brown Sugar Maple Syrup | Vanilla Extract
Whisk together flour, cream of tartar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar on high speed until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg, maple syrup and vanilla until well combined. On low speed, gradually add the flour. Scoop dough and roll it into a ball. Place dough balls on a baking sheet and chill for at least 2 hours.
Mix sugar with cinnamon and roll each cookie ball into the cinnamon sugar. Place them on a prepared baking sheet 2-3 inches apart.
Bake for 13-14 minutes. Remove pan from the oven and allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
they're soft and chewy!
