Cook bacon over medium-high heat until crispy, then remove from skillet and sauté the onions until brown and caramelized. Add in garlic and cook for about 2 minutes.
Next, stir in the cream cheese, sour cream, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, shredded Gruyere cheese, bacon pieces, and seasoning.
Top with bacon pieces and cheese and bake until the cheese is hot and bubbly. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, baguettes or pretzels.
