How to Make a Spinach Salad
This fresh spinach salad is versatile so make it your own by adding in salad ingredients that you love. My personal preference is to use fresh berries and pecans, which I used in this recipe.
To get started, start with your greens in a large bowl. Next add the toppings: strawberries, blueberries, pecans and feta cheese. In a separate container or mason jar, combine and whisk the dressing ingredients: mayonnaise, milk, sugar, apple cider vinegar, poppy seeds, dry mustard powder and salt. Toss the salad with the dressing just before serving.
To make this spinach salad ahead of time, combine salad ingredients in a large bowl, cover and store in the refrigerator. Whisk the homemade poppy seed dressing in a mason jar and refrigerate. Toss the salad with the dressing just before serving.
