A long time ago I was making a recipe that called for an ingredient I didn’t have in my pantry - Pumpkin Pie Spice. When I make pumpkin pie, I usually add the spices (cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg) individually using my tried-and-true recipe for pumpkin pie.
I figured Pumpkin Pie Spice consisted of those spices, but I wasn’t sure of the ratios. Upon a little searching and trial and error, I found the perfect Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix. It is easy to make and has become a fall staple in my house!
